Dynamics 365 Business Central Technical–Functional Consultant (AI + Claude)

Lead hybrid functional and technical Business Central deliveries while designing Claude-powered automations, copilots, and reporting flows for BC4 clients across sport, retail, and live events.

What you’ll do

Own discovery, fit-gap, and release plans across finance, supply chain, retail, and ticketing workstreams.
Design and build AL extensions, API bridges, telemetry, and deployment scripts that scale across environments.
Prototype and productionise Claude workflows for document processing, approvals, reporting copilots, and NL query surfaces.
Lead readiness reviews, dress rehearsals, and hypercare so every go-live hits quality gates and customer outcomes.
Document reusable patterns and coach BC4 teams so the wider practice levels up on AI-first delivery.

What you’ll bring

4+ end-to-end Dynamics 365 Business Central or NAV implementations covering finance, inventory, or retail.
Hands-on AL, VS Code, DevOps/AL-Go, and integration experience (Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, REST).
Evidence of embedding LLMs (Claude, Azure OpenAI, etc.) into enterprise workflows with sound prompt + safety design.
Strong data/telemetry instincts—comfortable instrumenting solutions and proving ROI.
Confident communicator who can brief execs, run workshops, and mentor consultants.

What success looks like

3+ production automations shipped per quarter with ≥30% manual effort reduction documented.
Predictable sprint and release cadence with zero surprise regressions across environments.
Reusable Claude/BC accelerators adopted by other delivery teams.
Exec sponsors view you as the go-to advisor for AI-first Business Central programmes.
High CSAT and referenceability across every implementation.
