Role Overview

We’re looking for a Technical Consultant who can bridge business needs and system delivery. This is a hands-on consulting role for someone who enjoys understanding operational problems, shaping practical solutions, and helping clients get value from Microsoft Business Central and connected retail systems.

You’ll work across discovery, solution design, configuration, client workshops, documentation, testing, and delivery support. You should be comfortable operating with both detail and commercial context.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with clients to understand business processes, pain points, and system requirements
  • Support solution design across Business Central, retail operations, integrations, and reporting
  • Run workshops, gather requirements, and translate them into clear documentation
  • Support configuration, testing, user acceptance, and rollout activity
  • Work closely with technical, delivery, and commercial teams to keep projects moving
  • Help identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities to improve client outcomes
  • Contribute to support, optimisation, and continuous improvement work after go-live
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in ERP, retail systems, business applications, or consulting environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to understand real operational workflows
  • Confidence working with clients, facilitating discussions, and turning ambiguity into structure
  • Good written documentation and communication skills
  • Commercial awareness and a practical mindset
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is highly desirable
  • Experience in retail, sport, hospitality, or events is a plus
